1.    Remove all pictures from the walls at least 2 hours before the IR scan is performed.

2.    Pull Beds and other heavy furniture from against the walls to avoid an IR misconception.

3.    For the ultimate IR scan there should be a difference in temperature between the inside and outside air of about 15 degrees.

4.    Make sure that all windows and doors are closed, and have been for about 2 hours upon the inspectors arrival.
